LOCATION: at the Pont du Diable visitor center. Route du Pont du Diable - 07330 Thueyts
PRICE: €18 per piece of equipment (entrance fee included). Equipment can be rented for half a day, but the course takes around two hours to complete.
NO REFUNDS ON EQUIPMENT ONCE IT HAS BEEN TAKEN OUT!

HEIGHT AND WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS: MANDATORY!
Height: minimum 1m 40 to reach all holds
Weight: 40 kg MINIMUM / 110 kg MAXIMUM (manufacturer standards)
Minors must be accompanied by an adult
We cannot rent equipment to you if these criteria are not met.
ADVANCED LEVEL+: moderate to high level of fitness required. This via ferrata does not present any technical difficulties and is accessible to all. It can be completed independently after listening to the safety instructions given at the start. There are two escape routes allowing you to leave the course if necessary.
WHAT TO BRING: a backpack with water / non-slip shoes / gripping gloves if you have them
WEATHER: rentals will not be available in stormy weather and/or heavy rain and/or strong winds.
Halfway between hiking and climbing, both sporty and fun, via ferrata is a popular activity for families.
The via ferrata is a form of vertical progression which, thanks to its metal equipment, does not require a great deal of technical know-how, but nevertheless demands good physical condition and strict adherence to safety rules.
NO SUPERVISION! We remind you that this is a simple rental, and that you are on your own for the duration of the trip. We'll give you a detailed safety briefing before you set off: safety precautions, use of equipment, route progression and escape routes.
